Migration
Migration process & expectations
We want migrations away from SwiftGrid to be clear: your code is yours; we host it. Before you leave, align on details so everyone is on the same page.
Managed vs unmanaged. Our environments are managed — tuned, secured, and operated by technicians. That differs from generic commodity hosting and affects what we can export (for example, we are not a cPanel host — you receive application/source files appropriate to our stack).
Security & privacy. Servers live in Canada and follow Canadian privacy practices; we avoid routing your data through unrelated US infrastructure. SSL and reputation matter to us.
What you receive. During migration we guarantee the application files we provide are complete for moving elsewhere. Formats differ from host to host — if another provider expects a cPanel bundle, you may need a different migration path; we provide what matches our infrastructure.
Risk. Migrations can affect SEO, performance, visibility, and compatibility. Test thoroughly on the new host and match application stacks where possible.
Liability. We are not responsible for issues that appear after code leaves our environment, subject to the fuller terms of service. We can provide a one-time support touchpoint if you hit a snag during transition — coordinate via contact.

The legacy site used a detailed migration form. On this host, open a ticket through Contact with subject Migration and we will collect the operational details.
